The Hi-da-Way

From the Hide-a-Way Series — SOLD

A stilt house rests beside softly glowing marsh water, where reflections of sky and structure shimmer in layers of color. Tall palms and grasses frame the quiet home as a great egret watches from the shallows, anchoring the scene in the rhythms of the coastal Lowcountry. I created this imagined refuge as a place of warmth and light, a space where water, sky, and architecture come together to suggest peace, shelter, and a gentle sense of escape.

This painting was the first work created in my Hide-a-Way Series.
